The fundamental reason why the hose cannot be used
The three main reasons for hose failure include material quality problems, improper use conditions, and design and manufacturing defects. The following is a specific analysis:
1. Material quality problems
Rubber material defects
Rubber materials themselves have problems such as insufficient heat resistance and oil resistance or unreasonable vulcanization system, which makes them easy to age and harden under high temperature, oil and other environments, and then cause bursting or leakage.
The bonding strength between rubber and reinforcement layer (such as wire rope) is insufficient, and it is easy to fall off or the internal wire rope is loose under long-term vibration or pulse action.
Pipe structure defects
Glue impurities, local damage or demolding defects in the pipe body form sand holes, causing oil leakage.
The wire braided layer is rusted, the outer skin is damaged or worn, and the pressure bearing capacity of the hose is weakened.
2. Improper use conditions
Overpressure and overtemperature
The system pressure exceeds the rated burst strength of the hose, or the high temperature causes the plasticizer in the inner tube to precipitate, making the hose hard and cracked.
Abnormal coolant temperature or impurities and grease accelerates the corrosion and aging of the hose.
Bending radius is too small
The bending radius of the hose is less than the minimum allowable value, which causes stress concentration and reduces the service life.
Frequent twisting or extrusion causes outer skin wear, and air and moisture intrusion into the rusted metal wire interlayer.
Installation and fixing problems
The clamp is not properly fixed or the clamp is loose during installation, causing the hose to fall off during vibration.
Inconsistent joint size accuracy or mismatched transition joints cause oil leakage.
3. Design and manufacturing defects
Unreasonable design
The local diameter change of the hose is too large, which reduces the strength of the rope and is easy to burst under high pressure.
Improper matching with metal parts, sharp corners and burrs damage the surface of the hose and accelerate aging.
Manufacturing process defects
Insufficient vulcanization, unreasonable rubber formula or insufficient mold accuracy affect the quality of the hose.
High-frequency pressure pulsation causes wear at the intersection of the metal wire braid layer and reduces the pressure resistance.
Influence of environmental factors
Long-term exposure to high temperature, humidity, corrosive gas and other environments accelerates hose aging.
Ultraviolet radiation causes photoaging of rubber materials, reducing strength and elasticity.
